America 1992
After a spell of teaching at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, I saved up enough money to go traveling over the United States. I went with my artist friend John Brown and we bought a Delta Airlines month pass which took us to New York, New Orleans, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Washington State. It was living the modern road movie (without actually driving the whole way). I did some work on my return which catalogues some of my experiences and observations.
