After the first showing of this body of work at the Foyer Gallery in Aberdeen, I made several new works on canvas in early 2012 for a second showing at Art’s Complex Gallery 2 in Edinburgh. This is a larger exhibition space and gave me the opportunity to explore the themes from the first show on a grander scale as well as show several works which did not make it to the Foyer show.
